Sunday, March 14, 3:00pm An all-star trio of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Concertmaster Andres Cardenes, PSO principal cello Anne Martindale Williams and David Allen Wehr headline this all-Ravel finale to the series, performing Piano Trio, Sonata for Violin and Cello and the solo piano works Pavane for a Dead Princess, Jeux d'eau (Fountains) and the rarely-heard solo version of the Mother Goose Suite. In the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, amidst the Symphony, Opera and Ballet, a world-class violin shop has been established by master violinmaker, Phillip Injeian. Servicing the local community, students and musicians across the United States and internationally, Phillip's name has become synonymous with instruments of the highest quality.
Known for his experience in violinmaking and sound-adj and setups, Phillip is a master restorer and his shop carries out repairs for students and professionals. In short, his shop provides a full range of service to visitors at his newest location.
Phillip's shop is open to the public, and is frequently visited by students and professional musicians. The shop includes an intimate concert hall containing a 1917 Steinway "M" used for in-house recitals.
